This piece is a dedication to Planned Parenthood. The organization provides a service for our community that is valuable and important.

 

Many people are very misinformed about the services that planned parenthood provides and the realities of how to access contraceptive services. There are still so many unsafe methods currently being used that provide poor pregnancy protection or the spread of sexually transmitted infections and diseases.

 

Planned Parenthood being defunded could bring back the return of unsafe sex practices, more unwanted pregnancies, and children who are born into this world that without the support they need to survive and grow up in a safe, wholesome, and well-adjusted environment.

 

Sex Education is very important. It saves lives. Planned Parenthood is a valuable organization to any community.
